Featured in ‘Art Quilting Studio’ magazine

This month I have an article and how-to in the Autumn issue of Art Quilting Studio magazine. It’s the Autumn issue, but current for me now, here in Spring, because.. well, opposite sides of the world.

My original “Fear-Less Quilt” titled ‘Under Landscapes’ is the main quilt in the article. I share a process of how to make this quilt.

What I really appreciate about the Art Quilting Studio magazine is that the how-tos are specific ‘do it my way’, but are looser in the way we can take the artist’s work and create our own version. There are some excellent tips and information on different techniques and materials, a lot to learn from each artist in the magazine.

And so much inspiration! This isn’t the usual old-fashioned quilt magazine that I see around (at my local newsagency), but a modern take on quilting. Something to get my brain working, to get me off the couch where I’m looking / reading, and into the fabric box.
