All the feels - stories from Corona-time

All the feels, all the emotions. Missing you. Raw. Crying at everything. Laughing like a crazy woman. Lay on the verandah and watched the trees and the clouds this afternoon, like a carefree child. Then curled up in a ball and cried.
Yelled at my children. My children yelled at me. Made homemade pizza for them. Kissed them goodnight.

I miss my mum like crazy. The high school principal is retiring. The kindy teacher is sending sweet messages and videos everyday - including all the teachers dancing in bunny costumes.

I think we’ve almost run out of chocolate. And the internet can’t cope. Those are the worst of this apocalypse.
Thankful that the government has put more funds into domestic violence services. Wish they’d fast track some payments for people who have lost jobs and can’t pay rent / buy food / pay for internet so their children can school-at-home.
Be gentle and loving and kind to yourself. You’re doing your best. The not knowing is the hardest. Wouldn’t it have been a whole lot easier if a meteor was headed for Earth and we could send a hero to stop it, and we had a timing counting down the hours.... And my garden is blooming abundantly. There are more butterflies than I’ve seen for years. And the creeks are full and beautiful. And parents are playing with their kids, and having much needed time at home.

And people are bravely volunteering to face the teeny tiny 🦠 meteorite every single day.
