I believe everyone is creative, and it’s my joy to help you {re}connect to your head, heart and hands.

Hi, I’m Ellie - an artist, life-long maker, writer and photographer.

I live in a hand crafted home in the rainforest in Australia, surrounded by birdsong, magical trees, and my creative (messy) family. These surroundings are what inspire me to slow down, connect with my heart, and share my world with you.

Crafting and making are powerful in helping you to slow down, breathe deeper, and feel calmer in your life.

Creating spaces for you to slow down, breathe easier, and make time for yourself is important to me. I feel honoured to share my work with you, so we can all

I share stories & quiet living, in a slow intentional manner. I’m truly happiest talking with my flowers in the garden, a light sprinkle of rain tumbling on the heads of my children who are gathering blooms beside me. And watching the way the light falls on the tall gum trees in our forest.

The complex aspect of who I am means that I love both the quiet of crafting & art-making alone, but also feel energised by spending time with other creatives sharing our time together, stitch by stitch, word by word.

Tea & cake, lots of messy fabrics & tangled threads, along with gathered leaves, twigs, seedpods or bird nests play a big part of my life. Along with the noise of a creative family.

I enjoy following meandering paths, being guided by instinct & curiosity, the possibilities of what might evolve simply by playing, enjoying, exploring, experimenting.

Some of these journeys take the form of writing work, textile artwork, photography, or a whole lot of unfinished pieces that never see the light of day. The process of making is important to me.
