“Ellie was very professional in her approach to creating my website. I couldn’t have achieved the same results without her. She created an amazing in-depth set of questions about what I wanted my website to look and feel like and asked for examples. This really helped me to get clear in my own mind what I wanted it to be. Ellie made some helpful suggestions along the way and was good at calling me to account. With a strong aesthetic and a highly professional approach I would be happy to recommend Ellie”.

“I would describe you as the midwife of my artist's website project. You have a kind and patient approach. You worked with my timeline and technical limitations, and presented options for me that made it easy for me to make choices. I get many compliments about the website and I love the feel of it. Not to mention, you are a delightful person and I enjoy hearing from you”.

I took your raffia basket course a year ago and it opened up a whole new creative world for me. Thank you so much. I've dyed raffia and made many raffia baskets, twined with sumac leaf stems, dyed raffia and daylily leaves, made a sweetgrass basket, and now am experimenting with willow. All from the confidence gained in your online course. I've wanted to make baskets for a very long time....and now I am! Thanks Ellie.

Your book, Mindful Thoughts for Makers, really puts the finger on all the great things about making. I never really thought of it so clearly before and you are so right ! It always "felt right" to make, and I always felt at the right place (making chocolates for example), but I couldn't really say why. Your book comforted me in pursuing being creative.
~ Thanks, Isabelle

A lovely book to hold, and a timely reminder for me to understand the importance of ‘making’ and ‘creating’.

During this course a complete shift has happened for me. I view the time I spend making as meditative, as a form of self-care. I live in the abundance of what is around me, the knowledge that has been shared with me, the connections that are being made, are all extraordinary gifts that I profoundly treasure. I have a deep gratitude for Ellie’s wealth of knowledge, her meaningful and thought provoking conversations, and her willingness to grant us access to a bit of her heart.

What I love about the course is that it is teaching me so many techniques that I will have for a lifetime! So if I don't create all the things I’ve been planning now, I can do them in a month or a year. I feel like Ellie’s courses could have a subtitle - 'Providing you with crafty skills to last a lifetime' or something along those lines!!
I love that the course allows me to go at my own pace, there's no pressure from Ellie that's for sure. Ellie seeks feedback from students on ways to improve elements of the course which is great, everyone is learning!

Ellie this course has ignited my creative energy like I haven’t felt it before! With your prompts and thoughts I was able to access my own inner reserve of creativity, one I haven’t felt for a while! I love that I was easily able to unfurl whilst being a mumma and working a day job. Thank you so much what you have done for both myself and my family, it is something we will all cherish for a long time to come!!! xx

I enjoy your courses so much, and have such joy creating. It makes me quite emotional to reflect on how much it has changed my life already discovering crafts that make my heart sing, and you have indirectly played a very large part in that, so thank you!

Working with Ellie was a pleasure. She was very easy to communicate with and had lots of helpful recommendations. Despite our very different time zones Ellie was very responsive to any questions I had. She explained things in great detail in a very friendly, patient manner.
I now feel like my little home on the web is warm and welcoming thanks to her. I feel inspired to keep making and pursuing my dreams.

Ellie’s eye for creative design provided us with a website that is easy to navigate, captures the true essence of the Preschool and provides all the necessary information for the community. Ellie really listened to our vision for the website and brought it all to life! We recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a web design revamp.

“I appreciated Ellie’s aesthetic and while I had clear ideas in my mind I also trusted her direction. I appreciate her directness, calling me out on some things, being straight about what was possible on the site and her thoroughness in creating the initial survey about the sites I liked and didn’t and why. It was helpful to have video tutorials to remind me what to do to make changes on the website.”
