My dad just dropped off our mail, from the post box in town. I hadn't even realised that I was due the Selvedge magazine. A lovely surprise.
I've downed my hand stitching that I'm working on to sit and flip through the richly varied pages.
I enjoy how Selvedge has a combination of modern and current alongside history. Inspiration in each page, image, word.

It's been raining again here; overcast today and coldish. We are all still sick with the sniffles.
I am enjoying the soft quiet of the day (except Sam is mowing now; but that is necessary), and the slowness of my routines and daily happenings. I am working on a hand stitched piece, that is making me happy while I work, and to think about it being finished and being used. I do hope you are having pleasant and contented days.
