Zippered slow stitched purse - Japanese fabric and Sashiko

$75.00
Sold Out

I made these bags for putting your stitching notions - needles, threads and a little needle case. Or carry in your handbag with regular everyday supplies (I keep my reusable bags, a cloth, and random ‘stuff’).

Both sides have been hand stitched using vintage Japanese fabrics and Sashiko thread, in a slow stitched process. Each side is different - an individual artwork.

The lining is a blue & white striped Japanese cotton, with a pink zip.

Measures 22cm top x 12cm high x 14cm bottom / 8 3/4” x 5” x 5 1/2”

I would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I create, live and work, the Minjungbal People of the Bundjalung nation, & pay my respects to their Elders past, present & emerging.
I thank First Nations people, Elders & present, for welcoming us to share the land & move forward as a community to continue to be custodians of our land together.
