Mel wanted something clean, crisp & simple. A streamlined website to show off her art-deco influenced hand-crafted jewellery. A portfolio of past work as well as an online shop were important aspects needed.

As this is a new and first venture into having an online presence for Melissa, I helped Mel step-by-step through the process of editing images, writing copy & deciding on fonts, colours & style aspects.

Utilising hover effects on images created subtle movement and flow on the site, without being too jarring and overtaking the photos themselves.

Adding a (secret) wholesale page means that Mel can sell to both retail and wholesale customers, without letting her retail clients know about the wholesale rates.
